One API for the customs paperwork of a UK–EU truck

ENSconnect lodges safety and security declarations, goods movement references and French logistics envelopes on behalf of freight forwarders and hauliers running RoRo routes between the United Kingdom and the European Union.

Request access

ENS · Into the UK

Entry summary declarations to HMRC's Safety and Security GB service. Multi-consignment trucks, amendments, risking and intervention messages translated into plain language.

ENS · Into the EU

Entry summary declarations to the EU Import Control System 2 (ICS2) through a national entry point, including amendments and invalidations.

GMR · Goods Vehicle Movement Service

Goods movement references created, updated and deleted at HMRC's GVMS, with the vehicle's state (open, checked in, embarked) pushed back to you.

ELO · French border

The Enveloppe Logistique Obligatoire required by French customs (SI Brexit) for crossings through Calais, Dunkirk and the Channel Tunnel.

How it works

  1. You send the truck. One JSON request per declaration: vehicle, route, consignments, goods. No customs XML, no message codes.
  2. We lodge it. ENS Connect Limited submits under its own registrations with HMRC, ICS2 and French customs, as your service provider. Your clients need no enrolments of their own.
  3. You get the answer. Movement reference numbers, goods movement references, rejections with the reason, and every later customs message arrive as webhooks and through the API, with the original customs wording kept alongside our explanation.
